Uniforms
In Pack 440, we ask that at uniformed events, your cub scout wear:
-
Shirt — Fifth graders should wear the tan shirt, fourth graders can wear either the blue or tan shirt, 1-3rd graders should wear the blue shirt, and Kindergarteners can wear either the Lion T-Shirt or the Blue Shirt.
-
Patches: You need the "4", "4", and "0" numerals, the world crest patch, the ring around it, and the council patch for the Greater Hudson Valley.
-
Belt: The blue belt goes with the blue shirt and the green belt goes with the tan shirt
-
Everything else is optional for pack events. The hat, socks, shorts, etc.
You can either order from ScoutShop.org or go to the Scout Shop in Greenwich or Fishkill (further away). We often will pick things up for people, so email the cubmaster if you want to see if he or she is going soon.
Below will be provided by the pack at the Moving Up Ceremony when the Cubs will advance to the next den level.
-
Neckerchief—Triangular neckerchief is orange for Tigers, gold for Wolves, light blue for Bears, and plaid for Webelos. Official BSA neckerchiefs are the only neckerchiefs that Scouts should wear.
-
Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with the Lion, the Tiger, the Wolf, the Bear or the Webelos Scout logo (depending on the grade). Scouts may also wear handmade neckerchief slides.
